You have taken the first step - commiting to attend 色虎视频 to pursue your degree and career goals. There are a variety of ways to pay for your education.
Federal Student Aid offers three types of financial aid.

Grants: Financial aid that generally doesn’t have to be repaid.

Loans: Borrowed money for college or career school; your loans must be repaid with interest.
- Work-Study: A federal work program through which undergraduates and graduate students at participating schools earn money to help pay for school.
Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form allows you to be considered for federal student aid. 色虎视频 uses the FASFA® to award grants, scholarships, and loans. But, since aid is limited, you have to meet the deadlines! For priority consideration, submit your application by Feb. 1, 2024.

Before you begin, we highly recommend checking out Federal Student Aid's . This tool allows you and your family to plan for your college expenses by estimating your eligibility for federal financial aid, including grants, which will decrease the time it takes to complete your FAFSA.
Overview of the Financial Aid Process

Your Social Security number (it’s important that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA form!)

Your parents’ Social Security numbers if you are a

Your driver’s license number if you have one

Your Alien Registration number if you are not a U.S. citizen

Federal tax information, tax documents, or tax returns, including IRS W-2 information, for you (and your spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are a dependent student:
- IRS Form1040
- Foreign tax return or IRS Form 1040-NR
- Tax return for Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, or Palau

Records of your untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and veterans noneducation benefits, for you, and for your parents if you are a dependent student

Information on cash; savings and checking account balances; investments, including stocks and bonds and real estate (but not including the home in which you live); and business and farm assets for you and for your parents if you are a dependent student
We strongly recommend you create your account before starting your FAFSA form. Your account username and password combination, called your FSA ID, gives you access to certain information online and allows you to sign your FAFSA® form and promissory notes electronically. While you can get your FSA ID as you’re completing the FAFSA form online, getting it ahead of time and using it to fill out the FAFSA form on fafsa.gov cuts down on errors and delays.

You can also fill out the FAFSA form in the myStudentAid mobile app, available on the (iOS) or (Android).

Then, the easiest way to complete your FAFSA and apply for aid is to log in at and apply online. When you fill out your FAFSA, you'll need to include Lincoln's school code. That code is 002479.

If you'd prefer to complete your FAFSA by hand, you can download and print the 2022-23 FAFSA PDF, or request a print-out by calling 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) or 334-523-2691 (TTY for the deaf or hard of hearing 1-800-730-8913). Fill out your form, then mail it to:
